THE ROLE
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary group,



where people with different backgrounds collaborate, each with their own expertise, to bring knowledge from research to the market.
The Technology Transfer Directorate is coordinated by Lorenzo De Michieli, who has extensive experience in Intellectual Property, licensing, start-up, and technology transfer.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Technical understanding of the invention disclosures received from IIT’s researchers to identify potentially patentable subject-matter
- Prior art searches to assess the patentability of IIT’s technologies
- Close collaboration with inventors and patent attorneys to draft and file patent applications in Italy and abroad
- Support to the assessment of the economic value of the of IIT’s IP assets
- Support to the design of strategies for the protection and exploitation of IIT’s Intellectual Property

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A master’s degree in Medicinal Chemi
