The position blends hands-on development with collaboration across architecture, hardware and software teams, and supports agile ways of working.

ResponsabilitàDesign, develop, and implement firmware for industrial protection circuit breakers and communication modules
Contribute to continuous improvement of firmware development and cyber security processes
Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure quality
Support innovation and patent-related activities where applicable
Participate actively in an Agile Scrum team and Scrum ceremonies

Collaborate with system architects and hardware/software developers to translate system requirements into firmware specs
Mentor and share technical expertise with other engineers
Collaborate with engineers worldwide and support knowledge sharing
Requisiti fondamentaliM.Sc.
or B.Sc.
degree in Information or Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable field
Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++, with solid software engineering fundamentals
Experience with Python for scripting and test automation
8–10+ years of firmware development for embedded industrial applications
Knowledge of embedded systems, MCUs, peripherals, RTOS preferred
Strong debugging and root-cause analysis using lab tools
Experience with development infrastructure: Azure DevOps, CI/CD, git
Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, IEC*****, Profibus, CAN bus)
Knowledge of embedded cybersecurity principles; secure development practices a plus
Experience in Agile Scrum environments; willingness to work in Agile teams
English and Italian communication; willingness to travel
