Teatro alla Scala is announcing an international competition for a first bassoon position, which includes the obligation to perform on the second bassoon and additional parts. This position corresponds to the 2nd level in the artistic area as per the current collective bargaining agreement, with an annual gross salary of €82,229.20.

Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria, including being at least 18 years old and holding citizenship from an EU country or having a long-term residence permit if from a non-EU country. Additionally, candidates must possess a diploma from a conservatory or an equivalent qualification related to the instrument they are applying for. A medical examination will also be required to confirm physical suitability for the role.
