Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners - together with British BAE Systems and Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), aimed at the development and production of a next-generation air system, defined as a 'system of systems'. Used for multi-domain defence operations, the system is characterised by a 'core platform' connected with other piloted and uncrewed peripheral adjunct systems. It is aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the involved countries, because it focuses on identifying and making available innovative enabling technologies that will ensure the generational leap, producing positive returns, as well as economic and social progress for the partners' countries, benefitting the new generations.
The people who will work on this programme will have the opportunity to embark on a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced environment. Management and administration of bids and contracts with a wide customer base.
Lead in the provision of Commercial elements for the Life Cycle Management and for Bid Approval process.
Support line managers, by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and detailed Agreements including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Service Level Agreements.
