Overview
In this Sales Engineer role, you drive sustainable growth by translating customer needs into Molex interconnect solutions. You will manage key Italian accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and identify design-in opportunities across strategic markets. This field-based position emphasizes hands-on customer engagement, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a consultative selling approach to create measurable value. You’ll operate within a global, collaborative Molex sales organization and have a clear impact on revenue and market expansion.

Responsabilità
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across Italy through visits with customers, distributors, and partners
- Manage and grow assigned accounts, driving revenue, pipeline, and opportunity conversion
- Develop trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, design, and commercial stakeholders
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Understand applications and technical requirements,



recommending Molex solutions to secure design-in opportunities
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle, converting design wins into production revenue
- Develop account and territory plans and customer engagement strategies
- Partner with authorized distributors to expand market coverage and identify opportunities
- Use a consultative sales approach to align needs with Molex capabilities
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, marketing, customer service, and operations to deliver value
- Monitor industry developments and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM data for customers, forecasts, and opportunities
- Represent Molex at meetings, distributor events, technical seminars, and exhibitions

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a customer-facing engineering role
- Experience translating technic
