Global Technical Operations & Supply (Global TechOp&S;) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOp&S; oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Throughout this journey, Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.
This is what you will do
Responsible for leading the site Maintenance organization, ensuring the reliability, availability, compliance, and cost‑effective management of production equipment, utilities, facilities, and infrastructure.
Drives maintenance excellence through effective management of people, processes, contractors, technical standards,
and continuous improvement initiatives, while partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HSE to support site performance and business objectives.
You will be responsible for
- Lead and manage the site Maintenance organization, ensuring the effective execution of maintenance activities across all production areas and the availability of appropriate resources, competencies, and organizational capabilities.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the site maintenance strategy, standards, procedures, SOPs, technical instructions, and best practices in alignment with operational, engineering, quality, HSE, and business objectives.
- Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and oversee preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements, engineering standards, statutory obligations, and site procedures.
