Overview In this role you will deliver ABB’s service portfolio in line with safety standards, providing technical support and acting as a specialist within your area of expertise. You will engage with customers and ABB sales teams to capture needs and drive service growth, working onsite or remotely. The position supports energy production and automation solutions, contributing to ABB’s mission of safer, cleaner, and more efficient operations.

Responsabilità
- Provide technical support and problem-solving on-site or remotely within your expertise across Service categories
- Assess and develop effective Service applications, equipment, and methods for new offerings to meet customer requirements cost-effectively
- Provide technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers
- Identify new sales opportunities and coordinate with customer and ABB sales teams to align needs with service growth
- Travel for preventive maintenance or commissioning activities, and be on-call for remote or onsite interventions
Requisiti fondamentali
- At least 5 years of experience in service activities
- Experience coordinating engineering teams on design of control logic for energy production systems (DEHC, BMS, boiler) and knowledge of software applications in power markets (Reactive Power Regulation Sart, Primary Frequency Regulation)
- At least 5 years’ experience in commissioning of the above applications and control logic
- Experience using virtualized systems for configuration, operation, and maintenance
- Excellent product expertise in INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite (Operation, Engineering, Historian); familiarity with ABB lines (AC800F/AC800M, S800, AC500)
- Strong knowledge of standard industrial protocols (Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus) and cybersecurity regulations for power facilities
- Willingness to travel about two weeks per assignment (Italy focus) with possible 2–3 day interventions; on-call availability
