The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the international DSR Hotel Holding group, is a 4-star hotel situated in Alagna Valsesia, near Monte Rosa, with two tourist seasons: during the winter season, from December to March, the hotel is a leading destination for a holiday centred on snow sports and relaxation in the spa; during the summer season, from June to September, it is the ideal place for those seeking a rejuvenating escape into nature and for those who love hiking with breathtaking views of the mountains.
Responsibility:
We are looking for a Front Office Agent to join our team from December 2026 for the coming seasons .
- As the first point of contact for hotel guests, they will manage all front office operations correctly, contributing to complete customer satisfaction.
- They will welcome guests courteously and carry out all front office tasks in accordance with the hotel’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), to provide a high-quality service from guest registration through to check-out.
- They check room availability and promptly report any issues to department managers and/or colleagues in the Maintenance and Housekeeping departments.
- Is able to anticipate and respond to guests’ requests and complaints promptly, courteously and efficiently,
and immediately reports any potential or actual complaints to the Front Office Manager or the General Manager.
- Is familiar with the hotel’s products, services, facilities, events, rates and policies, and uses up-selling techniques to promote them in order to maximise room occupancy and overall revenue.
- They check incoming and outgoing correspondence and emails, carrying out the related administrative tasks.
- They cooperate with the police and local emergency services when necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ proven experience in this role, preferably in 4- or 5-star hotels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, precision and punctuality, attention to detail, a customer- and quality-focused approach, and a natural aptitude for teamwork.
- Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage.
- Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work at weekends or on public holidays, or to cover night shifts if necessary.
