Overview In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of electrical building services across diverse sectors. You'll work within the Buildings + Places team in Milan to coordinate across disciplines and drive innovative, sustainable solutions. You will mentor junior engineers, engage in client discussions, and support bids and technical proposals. The position offers an opportunity to shape complex projects at scale and contribute to AECOM's mission of delivering a better world.
Retribuzione / Benefits hybrid work health insurance gym memberships meal vouchers employee assistance program pension savings plan Responsabilità Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services from concept to handover Prepare and review calculations, reports, specifications, drawings and design documentation Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, communication, fire alarm and low-voltage systems Coordinate electrical activities with other disciplines for seamless project delivery Manage deliverables, schedules and priorities while upholding technical standards Provide mentorship and professional development support to junior engineers Participate in client meetings, workshops and project reviews with solutions and recommendations Support business development, including bids,
tenders and technical proposals Ensure compliance with codes, sustainability standards and industry best practices Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical building services engineering in a consultancy environment Fluent in Italian and English Strong expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and building electrical systems Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects Good understanding of Italian and international codes, standards and regulations Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience coordinating junior engineers within multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills International project experience is an advantage Proficiency in AutoCAD Knowledge of Revit/BIM workflows and electrical design/sizing software is an advantage Professional registration or equivalent qualification is an advantage communication stakeholder management mentorship power distribution lighting systems fire alarm systems
