Purposethe quality engineer - asme orders ensures full quality, regulatory and documentation compliance for all orders subject to asme requirements, from contract review to final delivery.main responsibilitieslead project quality management by analysing technical and regulatory requirements during the order review phase.collaborate with project, production, purchasing and logistics teams to guarantee alignment with asme standards.define and maintain inspection test plans (itps) and coordinate internal and external inspection activities.manage relationships with authorized inspectors (ai), authorized inspection agencies (aia), customers and third-party inspectors.support supplier development for asme orders, ensuring quality benchmarks are met.review quality requirements, issue and update comprehensive quality plans.verify material certificates and review wps, pqr and brazing operator qualifications.coordinate witness and hold points,
manage audits conducted by inspection agencies, and support factory quality control.oversee issuance and verification of final project documentation such as manufacturer's data reports and data books.contribute to internal continuous-improvement projects.requirementsdegree in mechanical engineering, management engineering or equivalent technical discipline.proven experience in quality assurance or quality engineering in industrial/manufacturing, dealing with asme pressure-equipment requirements.deep knowledge of asme code section viii div 1 (certified individual qualification is a plus).ability to read technical drawings, understand brazing standards and non-destructive testing (ndt).solid command of iso 9001 systems and good english proficiency.gross annual salary (ral) €35 000.
