Role summary for a start in january 27 we are looking to appoint an experienced ib pyp early years teacher to join our team at the international school of como, italy. applicants must have experience teaching ib pyp or a strong early years reggio-inspired teaching background. the successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience enabling students to achieve their potential, with knowledge, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching.key responsibilitiesprovide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.plan and deliver the curriculum for one specific pyp ey grade level.lead pedagogical activities, set up learning invitations, interact with students, document progress and manage resources.support students, including those with special needs, and give regular feedback to parents and guardians.attend to personal needs, pastoral care, health, hygiene and minor first aid.safeguard students,



ensuring child protection and welfare.supervise outdoor break times and promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.assist in behaviour management strategies and attend staff meetings and training.contribute to school development through professional development and extracurricular activities.ideal candidategood communication and interpersonal skills.proactive approach to supporting students.belief that all students can excel regardless of circumstances.commitment to student safety and well-being.in-depth knowledge of ib pyp philosophy and reggio inspired approach.understanding of contemporary teaching and learning theories.safeguarding statement inspired education group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed.
