P&C Facultative Reinsurance Specialist

Overview In this role you will manage Generali Group P&C; outward facultative reinsurance as a centre of expertise, advising Group Companies on structuring and placement aligned with the Group Reinsurance Policy. You will assess counterparty credit risk, design and monitor structured reinsurance solutions, and maintain senior relations with reinsurers and brokers. You'll monitor market developments, delivering strategic guidance to support capital efficiency, earnings protection and profitable growth across the Group.

Responsabilità

- Serve as the Group reference point for facultative reinsurance, guiding Group Companies on identification, structuring and placement of solutions
- Assess and manage counterparty credit risk, define mitigations and recommend collateral structures
- Lead design, negotiation, implementation and ongoing monitoring of facultative-obligatory and other structured reinsurance solutions
- Maintain senior relationships with international reinsurers, brokers and market participants




- Monitor international reinsurance market trends and provide strategic insights and technical guidance to Group Companies and management

Requisiti fondamentali
- At least 7 years of professional experience in insurance and/or reinsurance
- Exposure to multiple lines of business and/or international activities (plus)
- Fluent in English; other languages beneficial (plus)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its applications in insurance/reinsurance; ability to use AI-based tools for research, data analysis, reporting, process improvement and decision-making
- Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy and relevance
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-unit alignment
- High accountability and ownership for outcomes
- Microsoft 365
- AI-enabled tools for research, data analysis, reporting and decision-making
- Ability to assess AI outputs for quality and relevance
