Junior Sales Manager

About the role
SANY Italy is seeking 1‑2 motivated Junior Sales Managers to join our growing channel sales team.You will support end‑to‑end dealer portfolio management, drive dealer performance, execute channel commercial activities, and contribute to sales target delivery for SANY construction machinery & material‑handling product lines (telehandler, loader, road machinery etc.) across Italian dealer network. This role is a development‑oriented position, designed for candidates with sales / channel experience eager to grow into a full channel sales manager in the Italian construction equipment market.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily dealer partner management; assist in monitoring dealer performance against sales KPIs, volume targets, inventory status, aftermarket & parts business performance of dealer network.
- Conduct regular dealer visits across Italy, attend dealer business reviews, collect market feedback, competitor intelligence, customer pain‑points and report insights back to internal sales & product teams.
- Assist dealers with commercial opportunities: support tender & large deal preparation, quotation follow‑up, promotion campaign roll‑out, dealer training & enablement activities (product, commercial terms, marketing support).
- Track sales pipeline, prepare sales forecasts, maintain dealer‑related data in CRM / ERP system; generate regular channel performance reports for sales leadership.
- Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal product, marketing, after‑sales, logistics & finance teams to resolve dealer operational issues,
remove business bottlenecks for partners.
- Participate in industry trade fairs, dealer events and product demonstrations; help implement local channel marketing initiatives.
- Support dealer contract administration, monitor rebate & incentive program execution, follow target achievement for assigned dealer portfolio.
- Identify potential improvement points for dealer partners, support senior manager to drive dealer capability upgrade and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related disciplines.
- 1‑3 years of sales management experience; background in construction machinery, industrial equipment, agricultural machinery or commercial vehicle industry is strongly preferred.
- Native‑level Italian; fluent professional business English (written & spoken).
- Valid category B driving license, willingness for frequent business travel across Italy (50‑60 % travel).
