What you'll do
- Deliver clean, readable, maintainable code that aligns with established team conventions and coding standards
- Implement features and bug fixes using core team technologies, supported by peers and documented patterns
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions
- Participate in resolving production issues by following structured debugging, testing, and documentation practices
- Use logs, breakpoints,
and debugging tools to investigate and resolve straightforward coding issues
- Follow secure coding practices and elevate potential vulnerabilities or risks to senior engineers
- Contribute to task breakdown discussions and deliver well-scoped work aligned with continuous deployment principles
- Collaborate effectively in code reviews- offering simple, constructive feedback and applying feedback to improve your own code
- Communicate progress, blockers, and risks proactively, ensuring alignment with team priorities
- Work within established processes (stand- ups, planning, retrospectives) and suggest improvements where helpful
- Build foundational understanding of system architecture, integration points, and dependencies relevant to your work
- Engage positively with teammates, supporting collaboration and contributing to a respectful and cooperative team culture
