Building things from scratch is great. Building them with people who occasionally ask, “Wait, what if we tried this instead?” is even better.

At The New Own, we’re building a new way to experience fashion: a fashion platform with a circular approach connecting people with independent brands through clothing rental, technology and, eventually, some pretty interesting AI-powered experiences.

The ideas are there. The roadmap is growing. We could definitely use more hands to bring it all to life.

? Who we’re looking for

→ You can move between frontend and backend without an identity crisis

→ You’re curious about AI: models, APIs, automation, or things we haven’t even thought of yet

→ When you encounter a problem, you look for a solution rather than a reason to postpone it

→ If you don’t know something, you learn it. If you find a better way, you suggest it

→ You enjoy experimenting, building and turning ideas into something real

→ You value autonomy and want genuine ownership over your work

→ You’re comfortable communicating in English (we’re a multicultural team mostly based in Italy)

? What you DON’T need

→ A fancy title with “Senior” in front of it

→ To know everything (we don’t either, and that’s kind of the point)





→ Someone telling you exactly what to do at every step

→ To be afraid of experimenting, making mistakes or challenging an idea

? Remote / flexible

⏱️ Commitment and availability: defined together

? Initially voluntary collaboration - this is currently an unpaid opportunity

? Potential equity opportunity based on your contribution and results, subject to a separate formal agreement
