Role Description The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cava de’ Tirreni. This role focuses on advising the organization and its clients on technology-related compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in areas such as data protection, cybersecurity, and digital risk management.
Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing cross-border regulatory obligations, reviewing technology platforms and tools for compliance, preparing guidance and policies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement risk-mitigation measures. The advisor will monitor regulatory developments, maintain documentation, support audits, and provide training to teams on best practices. This position works closely with security, legal, and operations teams to ensure that all tech-enabled solutions align with international standards and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cross-border technology regulations, including data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience in compliance advisory, risk assessment, and policy development for tech, security, or consulting environments.
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical processes and guidelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to work in multicultural settings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with international clients or cross-border operations; consulting background is a plus.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cava de’ Tirreni and collaborate closely with local and international teams.
