Overview

As Buyer Textile, you will manage and optimize the supplier portfolio for textile accessories and hats, balancing cost, quality, service, and capacity. You will work with Product Development, Industrialization and Marketing to meet collection objectives within budget and timelines. You will lead supplier relationships, ensure compliance with ethical and environmental standards, and mitigate supply risks.

This role offers cross-functional impact across sustainability and digitalization initiatives in a luxury textile context.

Responsabilità

- Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and development for the category
- Conduct commercial negotiations (prices, terms, payment conditions)
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with strategic suppliers
- Ensure supplier compliance with Maison policies and standards
- Monitor raw material trends and their cost impact
- Enter and manage sensitive data accurately in company systems
- Prepare and validate product cost sheets and analyze supplier offers
- Identify cost optimizations without compromising quality or brand image




- Assess production lead times and MOQs; analyze supplier capacity against collection needs
- Manage supply issues and define risk-mitigation plans
- Oversee purchasing budget and report variances; support annual budgeting
- Collaborate with Marketing to align briefs, targets, and timelines
- Work with Product Development and Industrialization to ensure feasibility of new items
- Participate in cross-functional projects (sustainability, digitalization, process optimization)

Requisiti fondamentali

- 5+ years in a similar role in fashion, luxury, or textile sectors
- Strong understanding of product development and industrialization processes in accessories/textile
- Proficiency in SAP and PLM; Power BI is a plus
- Languages: English (French a plus)
- Travel: frequent within Italy and France
