The Opportunity

Our client is a global financial services group with a significant international footprint, providing market access, liquidity, execution and risk-management solutions across a broad range of financial and commodity markets. They're investing significantly in the growth of its European FX business, with this role positioned to support the Italian and wider European PAY SIM business leadership team in day-to-day management and strategic developments.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to work closely with senior c-suite execs. You will be:

- Supporting Italian and European PAY SIM leadership on business strategy, management and execution.
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects, product launches, technology rollouts and regulatory change.
- Align stakeholders across Italy, London, Spain and France, including Front Office, Operations, Technology and Control Functions.
- Drive project delivery, governance, risk management and resolution of key issues and dependencies.
- Prepare senior management materials, governance papers and management reporting.
- Improve business processes, operating models,



client workflows and control frameworks.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements and coordinate implementation, training and adoption.
- Support regulatory, audit and governance activities in partnership with Compliance, Legal, Risk and Finance.

What we're looking for

- Experience in COO, Business Management, Chief of Staff, Strategy or Programme Delivery within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and project execution skills.
- Understanding of Italian and European financial services regulations, including MiFID II and payment services frameworks.
- Fluent business English, with the ability to work across international teams and jurisdictions.
- Exposure to FX, Payments, electronic trading platforms or regulated financial services.
- Knowledge of FX products, OTC FX, Prime Brokerage and payment workflows.
- Familiarity with digital onboarding, workflow automation, SWIFT, virtual IBANs and ERP/TMS connectivity.
