As an AWS Data Architect at NTT DATA, you will design and implement data ingestion and storage solutions on AWS, bridging Data Science and Data Engineering. You will collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to translate use cases into scalable data platform architectures. You will optimize data models on AWS stores and lead performance work for large-scale data lakes in production.
You will participate in client workshops, provide tradeoffs, and mentor engineers in best practices, shaping data-driven outcomes for customers.
Responsabilità
- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines on AWS using native services (e.g., Glue, Lambda) or data management tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica)
- Design and optimize data models on AWS data stores (Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3)
- Architect operations and conduct performance engineering for large-scale data lakes in production
- Participate in client design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations
- Mentor other engineers in coding best practices and problem solving
Requisiti fondamentali
- 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud environments
- Experience with Big Data architectures, cloud and on-premise
- AWS infrastructure and networking experience
- Hands-on with AWS collection services (Kinesis, Kafka, DMS)
- Experience with S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB; compute services (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS)
- Experience delivering proofs-of-concept for business needs
- Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud
- Experience xkiyazw monitoring distributed infrastructure (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
- Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect and/or Data Analytics)
- Agile Methodology and Kanban
- SQL knowledge
- Experience with source code management tools (CodeCommit, GitHub)
