Company Description e-work SpA, Bergamo Branch , is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client company operating in the marine construction, shipbuilding and vessel refit industry an:

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

Our client is a company specializing in marine construction and vessel refit projects, providing technical and operational solutions within the maritime sector.

The company offers a dynamic, international and technically challenging working environment, with opportunities to develop project management expertise through direct involvement in vessel inspections, shipyard operations, dry dock activities and multidisciplinary projects.

Position The successful candidate will support Senior Project Managers in the planning, coordination, execution and successful delivery of marine construction and vessel refit projects.

Main responsibilities will include

- Supporting the development and management of project plans, schedules, budgets and timelines ;
- Participating in vessel inspections, ship checks and site assessments ;
- Assisting in the coordination and management of multiple projects simultaneously;
- Supporting on-site operations during dry dock activities and vessel refit projects , ensuring compliance with safety, quality and project requirements;
- Monitoring project progress and maintaining accurate reports, dashboards and documentation;
- Organizing project meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes and following up on agreed actions;
- Communicating project updates, milestones, risks and potential issues to Project Managers and stakeholders;
- Monitoring deadlines,



deliverables and project-related activities;
- Supporting resource planning, task allocation and workload coordination;
- Identifying potential project risks and supporting the implementation of corrective actions;
- Collaborating with internal departments, clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders;
- Contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget , while maintaining high quality standards;
- Developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Management, Naval, Mechanical, Civil or related fields), Architecture or Interior Design. Alternative educational backgrounds may be considered if supported by relevant experience or a demonstrated interest in the marine industry;
- At least 1 year of experience in project coordination, project management support, operations, construction management or a related field;
- Previous experience in the marine, shipbuilding, ship repair or maritime industry will be considered an advantage;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook);




- Working knowledge of project management software , such as Microsoft Project or similar tools;
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile or Scrum ;
- Knowledge of English and/or Spanish will be considered an advantage;
- Willingness to undertake domestic and international business travel up to 50% of working time ;
- Excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities effectively;
- Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability;
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, motivation and willingness to learn;
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Additional Information

- Work Location: Pedrengo (Bergamo), Italy.
- Employment: Direct employment with the client company will be considered.
- Annual Gross Salary: €25,000–€30,000, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications, plus €10,000 in expense reimbursements.
- Work Arrangement: On-site position. Remote working is not available. Candidates must be able to reach the company's premises within a short commuting time.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of working time.
- Start Date: Immediate availability preferred.
