Offer Description
The Research Group operating within the academic discipline of CEAR 03/A has constructed full-scale test sections under controlled conditions,



in which the rigid pavements and concrete elements have been instrumented using FBG optical fibre sensors embedded directly into the concrete. The research activity covered by this call will therefore focus on validating the performance of the prototype system. Validation will be carried out through a statistical comparison of the experimental data with the results obtained using the main models available in the literature, including the Westergaard, Thomlison and FAA models.
