Candidate pool for a potential project. The project is not yet confirmed, so there is no guaranteed start date or volume.

Stepe Digital SIA (Latvia) is building a pool of Italian speakers with mother-tongue fluency and practical IPA skills for a speech-data project.

What you would do
- Record short personal names as commonly pronounced in Italy (~5 seconds each)
- Transcribe each name in broad IPA with primary stress, following a style guide
- Experienced annotators may also review other annotators' recordings and IPA

Requirements
- Mother-tongue level Italian, with natural familiarity with how Italian names are pronounced
- Practical IPA knowledge (linguistics, phonetics, logopedia, language teaching or translation background)
- Quiet room,



smartphone or USB microphone, reliable internet

Pay (per accepted name)
- Audio recording: EUR 0.11
- IPA transcription: EUR 0.30
- Audio QA: EUR 0.07
- IPA QA: EUR 0.17
Roughly EUR 14 to 15 per hour at expected speeds.

Selection: short application form, then a paid screening test (EUR 10 for a complete submission, pass or fail). Likely start is 2-3 weeks after project confirmation.
