Overview
As an Accountant at CommScope in Goa, you will ensure accurate and policy-driven payments for Accounts Payable and taxes across international operations. You will support our Shared Services and site finance teams, streamline processes, and drive timely reporting and compliance. You’ll investigate payment discrepancies, analyze root causes, and contribute to standardization initiatives.
This role offers hands-on exposure to global finance workflows and opportunities to impact efficiency and compliance at scale.
Responsabilità
- Process payments to meet defined timelines across entities
- Escalate issues and circulate reports to relevant teams (SAP, bank portals)
- Understand international tax and commercial transaction complexities
- Collaborate with site Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics to resolve discrepancies
- Identify process improvements and root cause analysis for errors
- Prepare periodic MIS on invoices and vendor payment trends
- Ensure tax-related documents are generated and reviewed for each location
- Support external and internal audits of the payables process
- Reconcile bank ledgers and assist in audits
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3+ years' accounting experience in Payments and Accounts Payable or similar
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with international sites in a multi-national company preferred
- Flexible work hours for international locations
- Strong accounting and finance knowledge with ability to learn VAT and foreign bank regulations
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Detail-oriented with document interpretation
- SAP
- MS Office (Excel advanced)
- ERP experience
