We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel - International Contracts to join our Legal Department. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, international retail business, supporting a wide range of commercial operations.
About the role:You will act as a trusted business partner, providing clear, practical, and timely legal support while balancing legal risk and business objectives. You will be expected to handle and coordinate national and international transactions as well as cross-border legal matters, working effectively across different jurisdictions and with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a combination of strong technical expertise,
commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of international contracts, including:
- Sales, agency and distribution agreements
- Franchise and licensing agreements
- Service agreements
- Purchase and supply agreements
- IT, software licensing, SaaS, and digital service agreements
- Outsourcing, facility management, and utilities contracts
- Support management in strategic decisions relating to partnerships, procurement, and retail operations.
- Advise on contract liabilities and manage related litigation matters
- Provide clear, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders.
Cross-Functional SupportPartner closely with departments including Sales, Procurement and Finance.
