Themaindutiesandresponsibilitiesare:
- SupportingtheNightAuditorManagerinbalancingtheday'srevenues,ensuringaccurateentryofratecodes,discounts,andotherfinancialdetailsinOpera,andprintnecessaryback-upreportsbeforethesystemclosesfortheday.
- Handlingvisitorsprofessionallyduringthenightshiftincoordinationwithsecurity,ensuringtheprivacyandsecurityofallguests
- RecordingmajorincidentsandimportantinformationintheDutyManager’slogbook
- EnsuringtheResort’screditpolicyisfollowed,conductingCreditCheckReports,andsigningoffonRebatesandPaid-Outswithproperjustification.
- Preparingdetailedreportsandend-of-daysummaries,whichincludedailyrevenue,occupancystatistics,guestactivity,andothercriticaldataformanagementreview.




- Closingoutthefinancialtransactionsfortheday,includingreconcilingguestaccounts,checking-inandchecking-outrecords,restaurantcharges,minibarusage,andallotherbilledservices.
- Ensuringthatallcharges(roomrates,incidentalcharges,etc.)areaccuratelypostedandrecorded.Anydiscrepanciesareresolvedbeforetheendoftheshift.
- Ensuringthehotel’ssafetyduringthenightshift.Thisincludesmonitoringsecuritysystems,overseeinghotelaccess,andalertingsecuritypersonnelaboutanyunusualactivities.
- Workingcloselywiththemorningshiftstafftoensureasmoothtransitionofinformation,andthatallnecessaryupdatesarepassedalongtothedayshiftteam.
