Institutional Controlling Analyst

What you will do
• Review and challenge financial reports from schools and entities, including month-on-month variances and unusual transactions
• Review quarterly management accounts and selected balance sheet accounts
• Assess compliance with Group policies and verify that key controls are working
• Review debtors and collections, cash flow reports and bank reconciliations
• Visit schools and entities, and issue concise reports with findings, recommendations, owners and deadlines
• Follow up until corrective actions are closed

What you bring
• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or a related field
• At least 3 years in financial controlling, internal audit, external audit, financial analysis or risk and compliance
• Experience working with several entities at the same time
• Experience reviewing and challenging financial information prepared by others




• Strong analytical and investigative skills, professional skepticism, and the curiosity to challenge assumptions
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling, and experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
• Strong, hands-on proficiency with AI and automation tools to analyse and control financial data at scale
• A solid understanding of internal controls, risk management and governance

A plus
• A professional accounting, audit or finance qualification
• International experience
• Exposure to operational audits, compliance reviews or process improvement projects

We prefer backgrounds in internal audit, external audit, financial controls, risk, compliance or financial analysis.
