Overview
In this role you lead HSE engineering activities for international Oil & Gas projects, embedding health, safety and environmental considerations across the project lifecycle. You act as the technical authority on HSE design, coordinating interfaces and guiding compliant safety solutions for complex facilities. You will drive studies and deliverables, ensuring cross-disciplinary integration and risk-based design. This is a hands-on leadership position with a focus on impactful, safety-critical outcomes.
Responsabilità
- Lead and coordinate all HSE engineering and design activities for projects
- Serve as primary technical authority for HSE design within the project organization
- Plan, facilitate and supervise major HSE studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, Fire & Explosion Risk Assessments, Fire & Gas Detection Mapping, Evacuation Studies, QRA, RAM, SIMOPS)
- Issue, review and approve HSE engineering deliverables (Haz Op, SIL, Fire Protection layouts,
Hazardous Area Classifications)
- Ensure HSE requirements are integrated across Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil disciplines
- Participate in project reviews and management meetings to identify risks and mitigation measures
Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant HSE engineering experience in Oil & Gas
- Experience in multicultural and international project environments
- Strong understanding of process safety principles and risk-based design approaches
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
