/p /brh3The Role: /h3 /brpWe are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join a team of 4-5 engineers supporting the network infrastructure of an international organisation on a long-term project.
The role is based in Rome, Italy, so candidates must live in or near Rome, or be willing to relocate.
/p /brpYou will keep a complex, multi-tenant network running smoothly and securely, from day-to-day operations to onboarding new services, always with a security-first approach.
/p /brh3Responsibilities: /h3 /brul /brliConfigure and support Cisco infrastructure (Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers) /li /brliAdminister firewalls, including Cisco Firepower and F5 BIG-IP AFM /li /brliConfigure and manage F5 load balancers /li /brliAdminister Cisco Meraki solutions (switching, wireless and security) /li /brliSet up and maintain site-to-site IPsec VPN tunnels /li /brliMonitor WAN usage and performance, and troubleshoot network issues /li /brliProvide first and second-level support, coordinating with vendors when needed /li /brliReview logs and alerts, and take corrective action /li /brliKeep technical documentation and configuration templates up to date /li /brliTake part in the on-call/standby rota /li /brliContribute to network security projects: review vulnerability and risk reports, and implement controls /li /brliWork with IT,
business and cybersecurity teams to turn requirements into secure technical solutions /li /brliAutomate recurring tasks with scripting and automation tools /li /br /ul /brh3What We're Looking For: /h3 /brul /brli5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer /li /brliStrong hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing /li /brliHands-on experience with Cisco Meraki /li /brliProven experience with F5 load balancers /li /brliStrong experience with Cisco Firepower and F5 AFM firewalls /li /brliSolid knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF and BGP /li /brliGood understanding of cloud networking, ideally AWS (VPC, routing, security groups) /li /brliKnowledge of LAN, data centre and WAN technologies (SD-WAN, MPLS, DNS) /li /brliExperience working in ITIL-based environments /li /brliExcellent English, both written and spoken /li /brliStrong troubleshooting skills, team spirit and a service-oriented attitude /li /br /ul /brh3What We're Looking For: /h3 /brul /brli5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer /li /brliStrong hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing /li /brliHands-on experience with Cisco Meraki /li /brliProven experience with F5 load balancers /li /brliStrong experience with Cisco Firepower and F5 AFM firewalls /li /brliSolid knowledge of TCP/IP,
