Global Technical Operations & Supply
Global Technical Operations & Supply (Global TechOp&S;) is Chiesi’s global manufacturing and supply area, responsible for ensuring consistent, outstanding quality, service and value across our end‑to‑end supply chain. Global TechOp&S; oversees the entire lifecycle of the drug: from process optimization and industrialization, to manufacturing, engineering, quality oversight, and supply chain management. Operational Excellence drives continuous improvement. This end‑to‑end model is powered by our four manufacturing sites - Parma (IT), Blois (FR), Santana de Parnaíba (BR), and Nerviano (IT) - together with our Virtual Plant network of external partners.
This is what you will do
The Bio-analytical Scientist will be part of the Global Product Industrialization function and will be responsible for the development of analytical methods for protein-based products.
You will be responsible for
- Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and execute analytical methods for protein-based products.
You will need to have
- At least 8 years of experience in chemical/biochemical laboratory working with protein-based products, or 5 years of experience in the case of candidates holding a PhD.
- Degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
- Knowledge of the main analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation (including software):
- Chromatographic techniques using UV, ELSD, MALS and fluorescence detectors
- SDS-PAGE
- Capillary electrophoresis
- Immunochemical techniques such as Western blotting and ELISA
- Enzymatic reactions
- UV spectroscopy
- Mass spectrometry techniques
- Data analysis and statistical evaluation
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
Compensation Range
The minimum salary for this role is € 46.000, aligned to our established salary framework. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s skills, experience,qualificationsand internal equity considerations.
