Job Mobz
ulliCompensation: USD 30,000 - USD 50,000 - yearly /li /ul h3Company Description /h3 pbAbout the Role /b /p pWe're looking for a software developer who enjoys building things that solve real business problems — and who cares about how those things run once they're live. /p pThis is a broad role in a small engineering organization. You'll build internal and customer-facing applications, prototype new ideas, and work close to the infrastructure those applications run on. If you like moving between product work and the systems side rather than staying in one lane, this role is designed for you. /p pOur stack is deliberately pragmatic rather than uniform: TypeScript and React on the frontend, with Scala, Python, Node.js, and Go across various services, all running on AWS. We care more about your engineering fundamentals than the specific languages on your resume — strong developers pick up a new stack quickly, and we'll give you the time to do it. /p pbThis will be an on site position with some hybrid work from home flexibility. Must be available to have some overlap with our US based team. /b /p pbThe gross annual salary for this role is $30,000 - $50,000 USD /b /p h3Job Description /h3 pbWhat You'll Do /b /p pbProduct Application Development /b /p pbBuild and maintain modern web applications, from UI through to API and data layer. /b /p pbDevelop new product features and improve existing applications. /b /p pbIntegrate third-party APIs and external services. /b /p pbBuild internal tools and automations that remove manual work from business processes. /b /p pbTranslate business requirements into reliable, maintainable software. /b /p pbTroubleshoot issues and improve application performance and reliability. /b /p pbParticipate in code reviews and help raise the bar on engineering practices. /b /p pbInfrastructure Operations /b /p pbInfrastructure work is shared across a small team rather than siloed, so we're looking for someone who can contribute here credibly.
How much of it lands with you will depend on your strengths and where the team needs help — but you should be comfortable with all of it. /b /p pbWork with AWS infrastructure across production and non-production environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53). /b /p pbContribute to infrastructure defined as code using Terraform or CloudFormation. /b /p pbHelp maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments, and improve the workflows around environments, releases, and debugging. /b /p pbContribute to monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing — including dashboards and alerts that are actually actionable. /b /p pbTake part in investigating production issues, root-cause analysis, and the follow-up fixes that prevent repeats. /b /p pbApply sound security practices: least-privilege IAM, network security, encryption, secrets management, and secure configuration. /b /p pbKeep an eye on AWS spend — right-sizing, autoscaling, and retiring what isn't being used. /b /p h3Qualifications /h3 pbRequired Qualifications /b /p pbSeveral years building and shipping production web applications end to end. /b /p pbStrong programming fundamentals in a modern typed or backend language, and the ability to become productive in a new one quickly. /b /p pbHands-on experience running applications on AWS or a comparable cloud platform. /b /p pbPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure as code. /b /p pbComfort operating what you build — debugging production issues, reading logs and metrics,
and improving reliability over time. /b /p pbExperience with SQL and relational databases. /b /p pbExperience integrating REST APIs and third-party services. /b /p pbGit and pull-request-based collaboration. /b /p pbStrong analytical skills and clear written and verbal communication. /b /p pbNice to Have /b /p pbTypeScript. /b /p pbScala, Python, Go, or Node.js. /b /p pbTerraform specifically, and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes). /b /p pbObservability tooling — metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting platforms. /b /p pbExperience building applications on top of AI services or LLM APIs. /b /p pbFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code. /b /p pbExposure to SOC 2 or similar compliance work. /b /p pbExperience building automation or workflow tooling. /b /p h3Additional Information /h3 pbHow You Work /b /p pbYou take initiative, take ownership, and follow work through to completion without needing to be chased. /b /p pbYou're resourceful and enjoy practical technical problems, including the unglamorous ones. /b /p pbYou pick up new technologies quickly and apply them sensibly. /b /p pbYou communicate clearly — progress, blockers, and technical decisions — and collaborate well. /b /p pbYou ship high-quality, practical solutions rather than over-engineering. /b /p pbYou have a product mindset and care whether the software actually creates impact. /b /p pbWhat We Offer: /b /p pbDirect impact: the products and systems you build are the ones the business runs on. /b /p pbEnd-to-end ownership of meaningful projects, from idea through release and operation. /b /p pbUnusual breadth for one role — product engineering and the infrastructure underneath it. /b /p pbA collaborative environment focused on learning and continuous improvement. /b /p pAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
