As we continue building this operation, we’re looking for talented and motivated bSoftware Engineers /b who are passionate about continuous learning and excited to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment. /p pSmartsheet runs on a modern SaaS stack hosted on AWS, with infrastructure defined and managed as code using Terraform and strong engineering best practices. Our core platform includes a legacy Java monolith alongside a growing ecosystem of microservices, primarily built in Java and Go (with a small number of Kotlin services). On the front end, product teams that deliver UI experiences use React. /p pYou will work remotely from Bulgaria and will be reporting to an engineering leader. /p h3You Will: /h3 ul liContribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release, ensuring quality at every step. /li liParticipate in system architecture discussions to design scalable, high-availability applications. /li liImplement new features and improve existing functionality to enhance our product offerings.. /li liMaintain and develop service APIs that serve millions of users. /li liCollaborate with systems engineers to debug infrastructure challenges.



/li liTake part in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution to maintain the reliability of our systems. /li liWork across multiple disciplines such as front-end, back-end, test automation, and infrastructure to broaden your technical expertise. /li liPerform other duties as assigned. /li /ul h3You Have: /h3 ul liExperience with programming languages like Golang, Java, C, or Node.js. /li liKnowledge of Object-Oriented design and Microservice Architecture. /li liExperience with scalable, high-availability applications. /li liComfort working in Linux command line environments. /li liA degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience. /li liLegally eligible to work in Bulgaria on an ongoing basis. /li liFluency in English is required. /li /ul h3Nice to Have: /h3 ul liExperience with DynamoDB, MySQL, or other relational and non-relational databases. /li liFamiliarity with AWS and Docker, or AWS certifications (AWS Developer, AWS Solution Architect). /li liExperience with service orchestration tools like Kubernetes or HashiCorp /li /ul h3Get to Know Us: /h3 pAt Smartsheet, your ideas are heard, your potential is supported, and your contributions have real impact.
