This position is both challenging and broad. You will take a key role in the company's development. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid problem-solving skills and work effectively in a team and autonomously.What you will doDevelopment of models as well as motor control and monitoring algorithmsDesigning of electronic speed controllers (HW/SW)Optimisation of PCB layout for minimal stray inductance and capacitance, placement strategies for better manufacturability,
power/signal plane definition and EMC optimisation.Troubleshooting and isolating hardware anomaliesEnsure that all technical work is developed to meet safety and security standardsWhat you bringStrong fundamentals of AC electric motors and drive systems analysis, modelling and controlExperience with PCB design software, understand and create schematics and design board layoutsIn-depth understanding of torque control techniques such as field oriented control, direct torque controlEnglish B2Work permit for ItalyNice to haveExperience with GaN and SiC based power electronicsExperience with ST family of microcontrollers and toolkitsKnowledge about debugging of embedded xysqume systems (SWD, JTAG)Knowledge of basic control theory and experience with embedded real time programming (C and C++)What we offerReal responsibilities and challenges from day oneFull time position on-siteSalary range for this position depending on experience and seniority is €45K-75KAvailable accommodation for the first weeks (if available)Additional accident insurance coverageFruit, coffee, snacks and lunch are provided at headquartersTeam building activities including: Hikes and walks in summer, Skiing/Sledging in winter, etc.#J-18808-Ljbffr
