Corporate Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our dynamic and expanding team in Italy.
The role will work closely with the CFO and act as a key link between the Finance & Administration team and the broader financial activities of Revalue and its project companies.
The successful candidate will support financial planning and controlling, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and management reporting, while also contributing to the financial monitoring and reporting of our renewable energy projects and project financing transactions.

Responsibilities
Support the CFO in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management control activities
Coordinate with the Finance & Administration team to ensure the consistency and accuracy of financial and accounting information used for management reporting
Prepare and maintain periodic management reports, including actual vs. budget analysis, cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
Monitor the financial performance of Revalue and its project companies (SPVs), identifying key trends and deviations from budget and business plans
Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts across the Group and its project portfolio
Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to support management decision-making
Support the CFO in monitoring project financing facilities, including financial reporting, drawdowns, debt service, financial covenants and other relevant financing requirements
Coordinate financial information and reporting related to financed projects, working with internal teams, lenders and external advisors where required
Support the analysis of project performance against financial models and financing base cases
Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalisation of financial controlling, reporting processes and internal procedures
Support the CFO and management team on ad hoc financial analyses and strategic projects
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or a related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, audit, transaction services, project finance or similar financial roles
Strong analytical skills and excellent command of Excel
Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and cash flow analysis
Ability to analyse financial data and translate it into clear and meaningful management information
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive and hands-on attitude, with the ability to work effectively across different teams
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Fluency in Italian and English
Previous experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure or project finance sectors is considered a plus
Experience with a Big Four firm, particularly in Audit, Financial Advisory or related functions, is considered a plus
Salary package
€38,000-€45,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, plus performance-based premio
