pDo you have the energy and drive to ensure the successful implementation of our maintenance operations? /p pWe are looking for an experienced bMaintenance Manager /b to oversee the implementation of our mill maintenance operations agreement in the beautiful city of Lucca, Italy. /p pThe agreement’s objective is to ensure successful maintenance operation in the customer paper mill. /p pThis is a unique opportunity to not only contribute to the success of a facility but also to shape the future of the maintenance across the entire mill. Be part of a forward-thinking initiative that values innovation and development in the heart of operations. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 pAs a bMaintenance Manager /b, you will be a key member of Valmet’s Maintenance Team in Lucca and report to the General Maintenance Manager (GMM). /p h3Your Main Responsibilities Include /h3 ul liSupport the GMM in establishing safe operations for maintenance and site activities, following country, Valmet, and customer HSE policies. /li liAssist the GMM in developing a long-term maintenance plan, including budget preparation and cost control. /li liIn cooperation with the customer’s manager and related teams, create an action plan and implement required actions to meet or improve targets. /li liSupporting in management of daily and shutdown maintenance work, providing needed instructions and guidance to the team in their day-to-day activities and during critical or emergency situations. /li liSupport troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving. /li liAssist planners with scheduling, planning, and making modifications to preventive maintenance tasks. /li liSupport the team during outages,



ensuring cost control and work order closure. /li liHandle personnel issues /li liDevelop team skills and efficiency through coaching and training. /li /ul h3Expectations /h3 pTo be successful in this position we expect you to have: /p ul liA bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field /li li5+ years of experience in relevant maintenance operations in the pulp, paper, or tissue industries /li liKnowledge of both mechanical and automation systems. /li liExperience in change management is valued /li liProblem-solving techniques. /li liTraining and development of teams. /li liNeeded finance, networking, and communication skills. /li liOffice systems and IT skills. /li liFundamentals of planning and scheduling. /li liFluent in English; Knowledge of Italian would be considered a plus. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pJoin a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for the pulp, paper, and energy industries, where you’ll find an interesting role that advances both Valmet's and our customers’ businesses.
