Overview
Join Avnet’s South Europe Finance team in Milan as an Accountant. You will autonomously manage the finance and accounting for an Italian entity, contributing to a multinational finance function. You’ll handle month‑end closes, GAAP compliance, and intercompany activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Handle non‑trade accounts payables and journal entries
Prepare financial reports and manage month‑end closing and reconciliations
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities under Local and US GAAP
Ensure integrity of accounting information and recording of transactions
Manage cash activities and reporting, including payments
Coordinate with Tax Authorities for audits and requests
Maintain and review financial records including Fixed Assets Ledger
Ensure compliance with local accounting legislation and tax laws
