Overview In this role you will own SAP solution architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards while delivering high-quality IS services. You will lead the S/4HANA readiness and design/build SAP custom solutions that sustain business processes. You’ll document architectures, support testing, and promote innovative solutions within a cross-functional ABB team. This position sits in ABB’s SAP competence center, contributing to a cleaner, more digital future. and optimization of IS solutions and services * Assist in incident/problem resolution for technical verification * Understand business processes at a high level and provide expert advice * Coordinate with SAP consultants and application SMEs on integration solutions Requisiti fondamentali * 10+ years of experience as SAP Solution Architect and ABAP developer * Strong ABAP expertise including OO programming; familiarity with RAP and CAP a plus * Experience with SAP integrations (IDocs, BAPI, APIs, web services) and basic SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, PP) * Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, migration projects, and SAP BTP; clean core principles * Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to explain tech to non-tech stakeholders * Proactive, analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure and adapt to change * Fluency in Italian and English; travel availability to Italian and European ABB loc
