Senior Accountant

We are looking for a full-time senior accountant, working remotely within 200 km of Milan, to look after payments and bookkeeping for a family's private assets.

The assets include property in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Greece, some fund investments, and small companies in Italy and Greece. Most of the work is in Italy. You will work closely with the family and with the existing external accountants and advisers.
What you'll do
- Pay bills and suppliers across the different properties and companies, in EUR, CHF, USD and GBP
- Keep the books up to date and the paperwork organised: invoices, contracts, bank statements
- Track rent and other income, and follow up on anything overdue
- Keep an eye on property costs, including renovation invoices, property taxes and service charges




- Record fund statements and check them against our own records
- Gather what the external accountants need for tax filings, and keep track of deadlines

What we're looking for
- At least 8 years of accounting experience, ideally including some international or multi-entity work
- Excellent knowledge of Italian accounting and tax (IVA, F24, fatturazione elettronica)
- Fluent written and spoken English and xysqume Italian
- Organised, reliable and discreet
- French is a plus

Terms
- Full-time, permanent employment contract, exclusive to us (no other clients or outside work)
- Remote, living within 200 km of Milan, with regular in-person meetings in Milan (travel costs covered)
- Salary: from €35,000 gross per year (RAL), depending on experience
- Start: immediately
