This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer based in Italy.
The Senior Software Quality Engineer will take ownership of software quality strategy across a rapidly evolving cloud infrastructure platform, ensuring that reliability and testability are built into every stage of development. This role goes beyond writing test cases, combining hands-on automation engineering with architectural input and cross-functional leadership. The successful candidate will design scalable testing frameworks for backend services and user interfaces, integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines, and help engineering teams release changes with confidence. Working closely with engineering and product stakeholders, they will influence design decisions, identify risks early, and strengthen quality practices across multiple projects. The role also emphasizes practical use of AI-powered tools to improve testing workflows while maintaining strong technical judgment.
It is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a remote-first, fast-moving technology environment focused on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and AI workloads.
