We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator to join our team in Vicenza, Italy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in construction or infrastructure to contribute to the preparation of competitive and accurate cost estimates for complex projects.
Key responsibilities:
Analyse tender documents, technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracted works.
Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
Identify cost risks, potential savings, and opportunities for optimisation.
Collaborate with technical, procurement, engineering, and project management teams.
Support tender preparation, budget development, and commercial evaluations.




Maintain cost databases and update pricing information based on market trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience in cost estimation within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, labour rates, and subcontracting.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software and ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Fluency in Italian; knowledge of English is an advantage.
