We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator to join our team in Vicenza, Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in construction or infrastructure to contribute to the preparation of competitive and accurate cost estimates for complex projects.

Key responsibilities:
- Analyse tender documents, technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracted works.
- Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
- Identify cost risks, potential savings, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Collaborate with technical, procurement, engineering, and project management teams.
- Support tender preparation, budget development, and commercial evaluations.




- Maintain cost databases and update pricing information based on market trends.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in cost estimation within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, labour rates, and subcontracting.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Italian; knowledge of English is an advantage.
