Business Development Manager Talent Data Solutions Italy - Milano, Italy
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Aons Talent Data Solutions business in Italy, focusing on selling our marketleading compensation data, surveys and associated platforms. This role combines initiating new business opportunities with the expansion of relationships and revenues within an assigned portfolio of existing clients.
You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline, leading the full sales cycle and positioning Aons Radford McLagan Compensation Database and related solutions to HR and Compensation Benefits (CB) leaders. Working directly with local and EMEA colleagues, you will assist Italian organisations in using compensation data. This will improve reward decisions and support their wider talent and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Proactively identify, research and qualify new sales opportunities for our Talent Data Solutions (compensation surveys, databases, platforms and related services).
- Build and run a robust pipeline of prospects through outbound prospecting, networking, events, partnerships and referrals.
- Prioritise highpotential targets and implement the commercial plan for Data Solutions in Italy with a clear focus on acquiring new clients.
- Lead the endtoend new business sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, dealing and closing.
- Engage with executives and key decisionmakers (HR Directors, CB Leaders and Finance leaders) to understand their strategic compensation and rewards needs and position Aons solutions accordingly.
- Develop strong product and market knowledge to clearly articulate our value proposition and differentiation in complicated situations.
Account Management Growth
- Lead a defined group of current clients, acting as a trusted advisor on Rewards Data Solutions topics.
