Finance ManagerThe Finance Manager has responsibility for managing all aspects of the accounting department and performing a variety of activities to support the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer and will provide financial advice and support to help senior managers and executives make key decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of and responsibility for the Finance department and its operationsProduction and review of financial statements for European entitiesProject revenue recognition by Percentage of Completion (POC)Ensure statutory and tax complianceFinancial analysis and commentaryReview business performance with executive and senior managementProduction of annual budgetsManage financial auditsManage relationships with banks, external consultants and outsourced service providersCashflow forecasting and reporting, including foreign exchange riskImplementation,
development and maintenance of financial systems and toolsReview financial processes and implement improvement plansDeliver on special projects as requiredCandidate ProfileAccounting qualification or degreeMinimum 8 years' experience in a similar finance management roleExperience implementing financial or ERP softwareExperience using Sage is desirableExperience in Percentage of Completion (POC) calculationsIT literate (Microsoft Office), with Excellent Excel skills.Leadership or management experienceFluent in Italian and EnglishConfident and assertiveAbility to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentResourceful, good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and highly dependable.Good organisation, time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
