The Director Engineering & Design Management is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous development of the Engineering & Design organization. The role ensures the successful execution of engineering and design activities across projects and market sectors while driving technical excellence, quality, safety, innovation, and operational efficiency. As a member of the leadership team, the position contributes to strategic business objectives, resource planning, and organizational development.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering and design teams across multiple projects and market sectors
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions that meet business and client requirements
Drive engineering excellence through the implementation of standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee engineering resource planning, utilization, performance, and capability development
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support project execution, innovation, and business growth
Show your expertise
University degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
Several years of leadership experience in engineering and design management within project-based industries
Strong understanding of engineering processes, project execution, quality management, and regulatory requirements
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder environments
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong business and customer focus
The salary range for this position is between € 77'300 and 103'900 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
