Overview
As a Business Development Manager for Cummins in Peschiera Borromeo, you drive new business and grow genset sales through strategic account plans.
You work with customers, dealers, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that strengthen loyalty and hit targets.
You'll own forecasts, manage pipelines in the CRM, and lead negotiations and visits to showcase Cummins' value.

Responsabilità
Develop and execute account plans to grow genset sales across existing customers, dealer networks, and new accounts
Identify and engage prospective customers (genset OEMs, packagers, dealers) and build relationships for new and repeat business
Manage end-to-end customer relationships, understanding needs and buying processes to provide tailored Cummins solutions
Own sales targets and forecasts; maintain pipeline accuracy via the CRM and ensure delivery against objectives
Conduct customer visits, sales presentations, and negotiations following Cummins guidelines to communicate value and competitive advantages
Collaborate with Application Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Aftermarket,
and other functions to develop solutions and align service delivery
Manage commercial activities including payment terms, AR follow-up, and overdue resolutions with stakeholders
Monitor market developments, communicate opportunities to sales leadership, and contribute to regional sales initiatives
Willingness to travel ~70% within Italy and occasionally abroad; company car offered
Requisiti fondamentali
Proven B2B technical sales experience in power generation, engines, or related technical industries
Strong customer focus and relationship management skills
Strong account planning and territory management abilities with forecast accuracy
Excellent negotiation and commercial skills; ability to develop pricing strategies and align stakeholders
Strong business and channel awareness across routes to market and multiple product lines
Fluent Italian and good English; ability to communicate technical information effectively
Experience in budgeting and forecasting; multinational/matrix organization exposure
