We are currently recruiting for a Software Configuration Management Engineer to join our office in Turin (Italy) within the Digital Product & Platform Engineering Division.
Mission
In this role, you will support software configuration management activities related to product versioning and lifecycle management through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems. You will contribute to managing product changes, configuration items and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with suppliers, customers and Design Authorities. You will also support Configuration Control Boards and participate in Design Reviews,
ensuring the traceability, accuracy and consistency of product configuration data and related documentation. Due to the sensitive nature of the role, you will work predominantly onsite at the customer’s premises. Key Accountabilities
- Support suppliers and customers in preparing Engineering Change Proposals and analyzing the impact of design changes on the product.
- Analyze and manage assigned tasks through the corporate PLM system, including Promotion Requests, Change Notices and the release of descriptive and supporting documentation.
- Organize internal and external Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) related to supply items and prepare the relevant meeting minutes.
- Analyze Configuration Management Plans and produce the related supporting documentation.
- Support Design Authorities in managing design changes within PLM/PDM systems.
- Manage and control the structures of items catalogued
