In this field-based role, you will combine mechanical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus to commission, optimize, maintain, and improve equipment throughout its lifecycle.Your responsibilitiesPerform mechanical checkout, commissioning, and startup activities for converting roll machinesTroubleshoot technical issues related to machinery, processes, and tools both on-site and remotelyExecute maintenance, process checks, and quality inspections to optimize equipment performance and product qualityRecommend spare parts, upgrades, and improvement opportunities to customersDeliver technical training at customer sites and in-house facilitiesCollaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve issues and enhance technical solutionsEnsure service activities are completed within agreed timelines while maintaining high customer satisfactionWhat we expect from youTechnical school diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics,
or a related field2–3 years of experience as a mechanical check-out technician in a manufacturing environment; converting industry experience is a plusKnowledge of MS Office 365, SAP, and 2D/3D CAD toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesStructured and systematic approach to work and project executionCustomer-focused mindset and service orientationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to quality standards and safety proceduresAvailability and willingness to travel extensively worldwideProfessional proficiency in English and ItalianTo succeed in this roleYou are a hands-on technical professional who enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges and working directly with customers.
