EVENT & MICE SALES MANAGER San Clemente Palace - Venice, Italy San Clemente Palace is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Event & MICE Sales Manager to strengthen our Groups, Events and MICE business. Located on its own private island in the Venice Lagoon, just minutes from Piazza San Marco, San Clemente Palace offers a unique setting for high-end corporate events, incentives, weddings, celebrations, product launches, exclusive buyouts and international group business. We are looking for a proactive sales professional with a strong network within the luxury hospitality, events and MICE sectors who can actively develop new business and position San Clemente Palace as one of Venice's leading destinations for exceptional events and group experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate new MICE, group and event business for the hotel. Develop and maintain relationships with international MICE agencies, DMCs, event planners, corporate clients, luxury travel agencies, wedding planners and incentive houses.
Identify new business opportunities across key European and international feeder markets. Manage incoming group and event enquiries from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and contracting. Conduct proactive sales calls, client meetings, presentations, site inspections and familiarization trips.
Represent the hotel at relevant international trade fairs, workshops, roadshows and networking events. Develop creative proposals showcasing the hotel's private-island setting, event spaces, restaurants, gardens and exclusive-use possibilities. Work closely with the hotel's Sales, Revenue, Operations and F&B; teams to maximize conversion, revenue and profitability. Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on leads, conversion, production and future opportunities.
