Job Overview:The Commissioning Manager is tasked with developing departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities. The role requires multi-disciplinary expertise and an understanding of the industry to achieve financial and operational objectives. The Commissioning Manager multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities, and allocates the appropriate resources. They must identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. The Commissioning Manager directly impacts business results by supporting and function-specific projects, products, services, and technologies and developing policies and plans.

Essential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Engineering
20+ years of experience and proven leadership experienceRequires multi-disciplinary expertise within own discipline and basic knowledge of other functions
Applies understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policiesSignificant management experience
Must have effective communication skills, able to establish confident relationships with discipline managers, technical engineers, and non-engineers.
Presentation skills are requiredMust have excellent computer software skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other engineering
