Senior Electrical Engineer

FRAG srl is looking for a Senior Electrical Engine er who will be involved in an EPC project for the Oil & Gas sector.

The Engineer will coordinate the activities of the Electrical Dept. in order to develop an upstream Oil & Gas project, and will be responsible for checking and approving the Material Requisitions, Vendor document lists, datasheets, MTOs, vendor follow-up, MT equipment and technical proposal.

Main Responsibilities

- Prepare and develop electrical discipline deliverables (design criteria, technical specifications, calculations, data sheets, and material requisitions) in line with the project schedule.
- Support the Lead Engineer in defining main guidelines and project tasks, providing technical guidance to junior engineers allocated to the project.
- Perform and supervise the complete process for Electrical Equipment Material Requisitions, including technical bid evaluations (TBE) and vendor document reviews.
- Interact with suppliers regarding technical issues and ensure proper coordination with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, etc.).
- Carry out periodical estimates of material and erection quantities,



proposing technical optimizations to minimize costs or optimize the schedule.
- Support the Site Technical Office and Construction Department during erection, commissioning, and work requisition phases.
- Review Tender Documentation during bid phases and actively participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for critical electrical equipment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy sector projects
- Previous experience an EPC projects
- Previous experience on develops of Detail Engineering
- Proficiency knowledge of technical software as: ETAP and AutoCad
- Knowledge of main electrical international codes, standards and best engineering practices (IEC, IEEE, ATEX, etc.).
- Proficiency knowledge of English language

Compensation : Indicative annual gross salary (RAL) starting from € 30.000 plus a possible travel / mobility allowance, to be defined based on experience and project-specific terms.
