If you are a Mechanical Design Engineering Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in Lugagnano Val d'Arda, Italy, you will lead a global team responsible for the design, development, and lifecycle management of isolation valve product lines, including engineered-to-order solutions, new product development, sustaining engineering, and product improvement initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with global engineering, operations, quality, commercial, and product teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and customer-focused solutions that support Emerson's commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Lead and develop a global team of Design Engineers, Product Definition Engineers, and technical leaders responsible for mechanical design excellence and product performance across the product lifecycle.
• Drive the design, development, qualification, and continuous improvement of isolation valve products and integrated solutions.
• Establish,



maintain, and enhance engineering standards, design practices, templates, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable industry and customer requirements.
• Oversee engineering activities from concept development through detailed design, verification, validation, industrialization, and sustaining support.
• Support customer projects, new product development initiatives, technology development programs, value engineering activities, and cost optimization projects.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Commercial Operations, Sales, and Product Management.
• Guide engineering analysis, calculations, simulations, and design reviews to ensure robust and high-quality product solutions.
• Lead efforts related to product qualification, manufacturing expansion initiative
